Business in Wilson County

Doing Business in Wilson County

Despite the current economic and unemployment woes that we are facing on a national level (some of which are certainly reflected here in middle Tennessee), I believe that the business climate in Wilson County is poised for rapid growth and acceleration. Our school systems are expanding with new facilities, strong leadership, and a focus on continuous quality improvement; we have vibrant and capable new leadership in both the county and city government offices; our Chambers of Commerce are active, growing, and engaged; and – according to my friends in real estate - even those markets (both residential and commercial) are beginning to see a positive turnaround. Additionally, as evidenced by the number of applications for new business licenses, a myriad of new entrepreneurial ventures are being formed within the county. In summary, essentially all indicators are suggesting that Wilson County truly is “the place to be” for business.
